Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to support the smooth running of household tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised environment, ensuring that daily domestic duties are completed efficiently. This role is essential in providing a comfortable living space for the household, allowing for a harmonious atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Organise and maintain household items, ensuring everything is in its designated place
- Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes
- Prepare simple meals or assist with meal preparation as required
- Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning
- Provide support with household management tasks, including inventory checks of supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the home environment
Experience
- Previous experience in domestic assistance or similar roles is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with household members and understand their needs
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new tasks
