Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks in accordance with company standards
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide friendly, attentive service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating arrangements
- Handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently, including basic maths for transactions
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards
- Support team members with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Proven Barista experience or strong interest in developing coffee-making skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently and safely
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Organised approach to work with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
