Job Summary
We are a fully private (fee per item and Denplan) practice in the lovely village of Tattenhall, with new surgeries and kit.
We are looking to hire an experienced, reliable, dedicated, thoughtful and enthusiastic associate who is passionate about spending the time to put patients at ease, building nice relationships with patients and giving them great quality care.
A special interest would be preferable (especially in endodontics or orthodontics), but not absolutely essential.
The right candidate will come with a minimum of 5 years experience, and experience in delivering private care to a high standard.
Available currently is 1-2 days with scope to build on this if wanted.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical skills and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive procedures.
- Perform various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and implants with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and uphold high standards of patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Dentist with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience in general dentistry with solid private practice setting work.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques used for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
