We are now entering an exciting new chapter, having been awarded a Michelin Star in February 2026 under the leadership of celebrated seafood chef Tom Brown, who has returned to The Capital following the success of his own Michelin-starred restaurant, Cornerstone.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and driven Commis Chef to join our Michelin-starred kitchen team. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside Chef Tom Brown and be part of a dynamic, high-performing brigade focused on precision, creativity, and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to Michelin-star standards
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure ingredients are prepared, stored, and handled correctly
- Contribute to maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish
- Work collaboratively within the team to deliver a seamless service
About You
- Previous experience in a high-quality kitchen (Michelin or equivalent desirable)
- A genuine passion for food, particularly seafood, and a desire to learn
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to develop your culinary skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
