Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with tipper lorries. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Operate tipper lorries to transport goods to various locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for class 2 lorries.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
- Ability to operate tipper lorries safely and efficiently under various conditions.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
