Bethany House Care Home is a friendly 27-bed elderly Residential Care Home in Lipson, Plymouth. We are looking for a full time Domestic Assistant to help keep our home clean, comfortable, and homely for the people who live and work here.
This is a valued role at the heart of our care home, perfect for someone who takes pride in creating a warm, tidy environment and enjoys being art of a close-knit team.
About the role
As Domestic Assistant, you'll help ensure Bethany House fells like home by:
- Cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, and bathrooms to a high standard
- Supporting with laundry and linen
- Following infection control and hygiene procedures
- Working alongside care staff to keep the home running smoothly
- Sharing a smile and kins words with residents along the way
About you
You'll be someone who:
- Is reliable, friendly, and takes pride in their work
- Has good attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a caring, respectful environment
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in cleaning or domestic work is helpful but not essential
