Eliments Ltd is a small business in home improvement market located on the a19 between Escrick and Riccall.
Our work environment includes:
*Overview* We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at our facilities.
6 hours per week over 2 or 3 days as agreed
Hourly rate of £12.71 Paid weekly in arrears for previous week on a Thursday.
Pension Scheme - Not compulsory ( due to remuneration but can opt in the pension scheme)
Holidays applicable to the agreed number of days to worked.
*Areas to clean*
Conservatory Showroom, Main showroom, Offices, Toilets, Canteen
*Duties* Cleaners are expected to fulfil certain duties and responsibilities. These duties include but are not limited to:
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters
- Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
- Emptying bins and taking out the rubbish
- Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
- Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.
- Clean/Disinfect toilet with appropriate products.
- Clean and Replenish Drinks Machine
- Clean Windows, Doors. Skirtings Etc & Empty Bins
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable - Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
*Experience* - Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is desirable - Ability to communicate effectively - Customer service skills are advantageous - A valid driver's licence is a plus but the bus stop is right outside the farm and it travels to Selby or York.
