*Overview*
We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing & Process Controller to join our manufacturing team. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are available when needed, inventory is accurate and purchasing processes run efficiently. You will also support continuous improvement by making the best use of Window Designer and identifying opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve control across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day purchasing of materials and consumables
- Raise and track purchase orders using Window Designer
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor lead times
- Manage stock control and ensure inventory accuracy
- Support stock takes and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Support production planning and material forecasting
- Produce basic reports on stock, purchasing and performance
- Identify and support process improvements and reduce manual/spreadsheet work
- Support the ongoing development and effective use of Window Designer and related systems

Essential
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (fenestration experience advantageous)
- Experience in purchasing, stock control or supply chain
- Knowledge of Window Designer or a similar ERP/stock system
- Strong Excel, organisational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Confident communicator able to work across teams
Desirable
- Production planning experience
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement exposure
- Experience with barcode or warehouse systems

Pay: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
