We are seeking a skilled UPVC Window and door Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of windows and doors in a professional manner.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Measure before removing windows
- Install windows, ensuring they are plumb, level, and secure.
- Work with various materials to ensure proper fitting and finishing.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Read surveys thoroughly and understand installation requirements.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to window fitting.
- Strong understanding of building regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for effective installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
