Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage various driving tasks, including operating curtain sided trailers and box trailers.
Responsibilities
- Operate a lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required by company policy.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence (CDL)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy items as required during loading and unloading.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- We can offer a tramping positions which consist of 4 nights out away from home
- We can also offer a day shifts with a potential nights out
- Performance bonuses and increase pay after 3 months of probation completed
- New pass drivers welcome to apply
- No DR’S, IN or DD’s offence codes (mandatory licence check prior to contacting an candidate)
- Valid CPC and Tacho card
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Knowledge of Polish language preferred but not essential
