We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mechanic Trainee. Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of machinery and equipment
- Learn to diagnose mechanical issues under supervision and support troubleshooting efforts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance activities
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
- Maintain organised work areas, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly
- Support the team in completing scheduled inspections and servicing of equipment
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical knowledge and skills
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge or a keen interest in learning about machinery and systems
- Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Ability to operate power tools safely and responsibly
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
