This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to begin their career and develop their skills within our Customer Service & Sales Support Team.
The Role
As a Customer Service Apprentice, you will be working towards a Customer Services qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. Reporting to the Customer Service & Sales Support Manager, you will support the team in delivering excellent levels of service to our customers and colleagues.
This apprenticeship will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to build a successful career in customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handling inbound customer service calls in a professional and polite manner.
- Managing the Customer Service inbox, ensuring emails are responded to promptly.
- Resolving customer queries and providing order updates via telephone and email.
- Assisting the team with processing sales orders during.
- Delivering and maintaining a high standard of professional service at all times.
- Providing general administrative support as required by the department.

No prior experience is necessary, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
- Possess strong communication skills with a confident and polite telephone manner.
- Be polite, approachable, and helpful.
- Show initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Have a basic familiarity with Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Be eager to learn, develop, and grow within the business.

Working Hours & Details
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week)
Location: Preston
This is an apprenticeship role
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
