We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable labourer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced construction environment.
The successful candidate will assist skilled tradespeople and site management in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive construction site. Work will involve a variety of tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting tradespeople including bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers, plasterers, and other site operatives.
- Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials around site.
- Preparing work areas and ensuring materials and tools are readily available.
- Carrying out general site cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Removing waste materials and maintaining safe access routes.
- Assisting with site setup and dismantling.
- Operating basic hand and power tools where appropriate and trained.
- Following all health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Supporting deliveries and checking materials received.
- Reporting hazards, incidents, or damaged equipment to site management.
- Performing other general labouring duties as required by supervisors.
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous labouring or construction site experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Valid CSCS Card.
