The Health and Safety team are offering a 12 month secondment and development opportunity for a Fit Mask Testing Support worker to join us within the Health and Safety team . We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has excellent people skills to Support the FFP3 Fit Mask testing programme.
Full Training will be provided to ensure we continue to deliver high quality testing which ensures all staff groups in clinical practice are safe and supported with the correct PPE to protect them and our patients.
The successful applicant will be organised, efficient and a great communicator and able to independently run the clinic. Full training in the specialised equipment will be provided ensuring we deliver a high quality testing service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop in skills and knowledge working directly with our Health and Safety team and the Matron for Estates and Facilities.
Fit Mask testing has recently collaborated with our Occupational health team to centrally coordinate this service and the successful applicant will be key in the success of this programme.

You will work as part of the Health and Safety Team, managing all fit testing processes including reviewing and amending appointments and updating the G2 OPAS Occupational health platform.
This role requires extensive liaison with various teams, including Infection Prevention and Control, Procurement and Supply Chain, and clinical teams to prioritise and organise fit testing. They will ensure that staff are individually face fitted to masks providing respiratory protection against harmful pathogens.
