About the role:
Improve and maintain estate quality through proactive partnership with Housing and Maintenance teams, delivering a local, responsive service.
Maintain a visible presence, promote housing services, and work with residents to build pride and encourage community-led initiatives.
Support effective management of Council-provided temporary accommodation, ensuring standards are maintained and resident needs are met.
About you:
Understand and apply basic technical information to support estate and property tasks.
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with
colleagues and residents.
Maintain accurate, organised written records and reports.
Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritising work to meet deadlines.
Physically capable of carrying out cleaning, inspection, and basic maintenance duties.
Passionate about delivering high-quality service and supporting safe, well
maintained communities.
What you will do:
Monitor estate cleanliness and maintenance standards, coordinating with Estate
Management Team to address issues and arrange remedial works.
Carry out minor grounds maintenance, litter picking, and promptly manage or report fly-tipping.
Inspect communal areas for health and safety risks, resolving minor issues and reporting concerns.
Complete minor repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of shared spaces to maintain high estate standards.
Identify and report anti-social behaviour and estate issues, supporting safe and well-kept communities.
Support property and tenancy management, including temporary
accommodation, void checks, and resident guidance.

Service: Housing
Salary: Grade 6 Point 11 to Point 14 £28,142 to £29,540 per annum £14.58 to £15.31 per hour
