Technical Sales Administrator Huddersfield
PTFE Flex is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Technical Sales Administrator to join our growing team in Huddersfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales administration, customer service, or technical sales experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment. Youll support customers, process orders, prepare quotations, and help deliver exceptional service across the business.
Youll work closely with the General Manager and sales team while developing valuable knowledge within the Fluid Power industry.

PTFE Flex Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of PTFE hose and assemblies based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Established in 2013, we bring together over 40 years of industry experience supported by a modern production facility.
We are proud to be part of the R&G Fluid Power Group, one of the UKs leading Fluid Power specialists with nationwide teams and extensive stock holdings.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, purchase orders, and sales enquiries accurately
- Input orders onto the company sales system
- Handle inbound sales calls, emails, and website enquiries professionally
- Prepare and follow up quotations within agreed timescales
- Respond to customer queries quickly and accurately
- Support urgent and emergency customer requirements when needed
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service
- Work closely with internal teams across sales and operations
- Maintain accurate records and administration
- Assist with manufacturing support activities when required (full training provided)
What Were Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous sales administration or office-based customer service experience
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Confident working independently and within a team
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn
Desirable Experience
- Fluid Power, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or MRO industry experience
- Experience handling technical quotations or product enquiries
- B2B sales support experience
- Proactive sales or account support experience

Working Hours
Monday Thursday: 8:30am 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am 4:00pm
Lunch: 1 hour
