Machine Operator
Location: Mundford
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday–Friday)
Shifts: 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm
Pay: £13.88 per hour, rising to £14.58 after training
Overtime: Available at double time

Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining production machinery
- Managing changeover parts and spares
- Carrying out basic preventative maintenance
- Recording downtime and repairs alongside the maintenance team
- Completing risk assessments as required
- Supporting production demands with a flexible approach to working hours
What We’re Looking For
- Previous machine operation experience with fault‑finding ability
- Ability to lift up to 25kg when required
- Strong understanding of the importance of completing tasks accurately
- Good knowledge of basic hand tools
- Basic Food Hygiene training (in‑house or external)
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety and relevant legislation
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work unsupervised with excellent attention to detail
- Positive, task‑focused attitude
Desirable Qualifications
- Food Safety Level 2
- HACCP Level 2
- FLT/Hand Truck Licence
- Engineering background (advantageous but not essential)
