About Us
Den 42 is a fast-paced interactive sports and games bar offering cocktails, live sport, interactive darts, shuffleboards, private bookings, quiz nights, bingo events, and a lively social atmosphere. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to help lead the team and maintain high standards across service and operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervising bar and floor staff during service
- Leading shifts and supporting day-to-day venue operations
- Ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Supporting stock control, deliveries, and bar organisation
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards across the venue
- Supporting management with opening and closing procedures
- Monitoring service speed and quality during busy periods
- Assisting with private events, bookings, sports fixtures, and venue promotions
- Ensuring licensing, health & safety, and company procedures are followed
- Supporting cocktail preparation and draught quality standards
Requirements
- Previous bar or hospitality supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Confident handling customer interactions and problem solving
- Good knowledge of bar operations and service standards
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Cocktail experience preferred but not essential

Experience
- Hospitality Supervisor: 1 year preferred
- Bartending/Hospitality: 2 years preferred
Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
