Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours, ideal for individuals seeking part-time employment with a focus on professionalism and efficiency. Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial environments
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
- Follow designated cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard of cleanliness
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
