<Overview>
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced Senior Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team, inspiring young minds and nurturing their development during the formative years. <Responsibilities>
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support early childhood development.
- Lead classroom activities focused on toddler care, preschool education, and special education needs, ensuring each child’s unique learning style is accommodated.
- Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management techniques, fostering positive behavior and social-emotional skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support in areas such as speech, behavior management, or cognitive development.
- Engage with children through interactive teaching methods, including tutoring and hands-on lessons that promote curiosity and active learning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress using standardized testing methods and progress reports to inform ongoing lesson planning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior.
- Starting hours from 20 and maximum hours 30 per week
<Qualifications>
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including special education and early intervention techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math (including Montessori methods), physical education, and classroom management.
- Experience with classroom experience involving toddlers or preschool-aged children; familiarity with Montessori approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results for assessment purposes.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
