Job Summary
Minimum 20 Hours Monday to Friday - For a real enthusiast, in a vibrant, busy staff restaurant. Hands on team player with ability to multitask and work on own initiative.
General catering duties and food preparation, serving customers and supporting the Catering Manager and Team.
Must have a true desire to exceed customer expectations everyday.
Previous experience within the contract / retail catering market essential.
Must be flexible and willing to cover extra shifts if required.
Immediate start would be available for the right candidate
Hours – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7.30 a.m. Till 11.30 a.m.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Serving customers and taking payments .
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area.
- Support with setting up and clearing catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and buffet displays.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Replenish supplies as needed during service periods to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is essential .
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Skills in food preparation and serving are advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A friendly, professional attitude with a focus on teamwork.
- Flexibility to work during peak times, including weekends or evenings if required.
