Active Party and Event Host (Mostly Weekends)

Are you energetic, enthusiastic, and love working with children? Sporty Stars is looking for dynamic party hosts to join our growing team. We deliver exciting children's parties and adult events throughout the year, primarily on weekends, with occasional opportunities during the week and school holidays.
What We Offer:
- A variety of fun activities: Bubble Football, Nerf Wars, Archery Tag, Bouncy Castles, Glow in the Dark Sports, and more.
- Full training provided, including certificates and courses.
- Flexible work offered on a job-to-job basis, scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Travel expenses and extra pay for events outside Exeter, East Devon, and Torbay.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Personality & Skills:
- Be full of enthusiasm and energy
- Communicate confidently and appropriately with children
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Have a First Aid Certificate
- Be able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check
- Have experience working with children and young people
- Be competent in literacy and numeracy
- Professional Competence:
- Follow a range of session plans effectively
- Be reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Confidently deliver instructions and information
- Set up and deliver high-quality sports activities
- Availability & Logistics:
- Be available on weekends
- Have a driving license and access to a car for event travel and equipment transport

Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging activities for children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with children and their families to understand individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized activity space, adhering to safety standards.
- Utilize First Aid skills as necessary and ensure all activities comply with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall experience for children in care.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£20.00 per hour
