The Eat inn diner are looking for 2 part time Kitchen Assistant, to work at our outside catering contract customers.
Working for between 2 and 5 days per week initially which includes at least 1 weekend lunch. You'll be responsible for heating, prepping, cooking, serving and presenting food to a small number of customers at an assisted living residential home.
Some of the food will arrive to you part cooked and it will be your job to unpack, reheat/ cook the pre-ordered meals to an attractive and professional standard. Although you don't need to be a chef/ cook, experience of cooking professionally will definitely be an advantage. You may be working on your own for much of the time although there is a big team on site.
The shifts are between 2 and 5 hours per day, (over lunchtime) and we're ideally looking for someone to work week days plus hopefully Saturday and/or Sunday. its a lovely little job, that will only suit certain people due to the hours, but it will be very rewarding and you'll be part of a great team. It would even suit someone that can juggle this job around dropping the kids to school maybe?
We have a relaxed kitchen, but still demand hard work and a keen eye.
