About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, confident, and experienced Waiter/Waitress with strong bartending skills to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer service, and confidently preparing and serving drinks behind the bar when required.
You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable dining and bar experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a warm and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly and to a high standard
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks behind the bar
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations
- Handle payments (cash and card) accurately
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant
- Proven bartending experience (cocktails, beer, spirits, and wine service)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and responsible alcohol service
Desirable:
- Experience in cocktail preparation or mixology
- Experience in high-volume hospitality venues
- Training in food hygiene or alcohol licensing (e.g., personal licence awareness)

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
