We are seeking an experienced Carer to join our team to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a background in assisted living, patient care, and senior support, with a strong focus on promoting independence and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals, supporting their daily needs with empathy and expertise.
Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be travelling between clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect
- Support clients with daily living activities
- Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia, Alzhimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with medication administration and reminders
- Prepare meals and supporting nutritional needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support clients with shopping, escort clients to appointments and community access where required
- Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate behaviour management strategies
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns to superviors promptly
- Promote independence and person-centred care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support worker role
- Up-to-date Mandatory Trainings Certificates
- Care Certificate desirable (if completed)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Caring, patient, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Health and Social Care qualifications are desirable but not essential
