Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook Level 2 to join our 16 bed kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation, food safety, and culinary techniques to assist in the efficient operation of our kitchen.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper cleaning and maintenance
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook Level 2 or relevant role in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
