Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Grant Application Coordinator (volunteer position) to apply for grants on behalf of PINT Giving. You will be responsible for managing the entire grant application process, from researching and identifying suitable funding opportunities, to drafting and submitting compelling proposals.
We are looking for someone who is computer literate, with strong written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail. Ideally we would love to work with someone who understands the charity sector and has some previous knowledge of grant writing and fundraising, but we are also very open to anyone who is willing to self teach about this area.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an amazing cause, whilst developing professional skills in fundraising and communication.
Please note this a volunteer position - there is however the opportunity to receive up to 15% commission, for successful grants secured.
This work can be carried out primarily remotely, however given we are a London based charity we are looking for someone London based, who can also come along and experience what PINT do first hand as part of their work with us.
About PINT
PINT (People In Need Today) helps those that are homeless and struggling to make ends meet. This can range from single parents, to elderly and vulnerable individuals to those struggling with disabilities. As a small charity, our work prides itself on supporting those who find themselves in desperate last-minute situations that are unavoidable.
A lot of the work we do at PINT is outreach work, providing various supplies such as hot meals, snacks and water, to those sleeping rough. We also provide aid for those locally in Westminster, Wandsworth and Lambeth, including regular support to the elderly and vulnerable. Every week we help between 600-700 people of various ages, ethnicities, and genders.
Pay: From £1.00 per year
