We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Coffee Shop Manager to lead our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the coffee shop’s daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise staff, including baristas and volunteers, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and food safety compliance.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to foster a motivated and cohesive team.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the premises, particularly food safety standards.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a friendly atmosphere.
- Maintain stock levels by ordering supplies as needed and managing inventory efficiently.
- Implement training programmes for new staff members in food production, serving techniques, and hospitality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or café management, preferably within a hospitality environment such as cafes.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Demonstrable supervising experience with team management skills.
- Knowledge of food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality standards.
- Previous barista experience is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and staff development.
