About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in the care and preservation of wedding gowns. This position is hands-on, detail-focused, and integral to the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect wedding dresses for stains, damage, or needed repairs
- Prepare gowns for cleaning by reading care labels and assessing fabric types
- Clean delicate garments using specialist techniques (full training provided)
- Pressing gowns to a high standard before packing
- Packaging gowns into our customers desired storage option
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- This position includes manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying bridal gowns and other garments. Candidates should be able to comfortably perform these physical aspects of the role on a regular basis

- A genuine interest in quality craftsmanship and garment care is a plus
- Experience in sewing and alterations is also welcomed
What You’ll Learn:
How to safely clean and handle delicate and specialty fabrics
How to identify fabric types and interpret care labels
Techniques for minor dress repairs and preservation methods
The Important Stuff:
Job Type: 6-month probationary period - Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week full-time and 24 hours part time
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:30-5:00, Friday 8:00-1:00.
Overtime: Available during peak periods
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £12.71 per hour
