We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our legal team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and type legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy using audio typing where required.
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is correctly filed and up-to-date.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and deadlines related to property transactions, demonstrating effective time management.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and written communication to facilitate smooth conveyancing processes.
- Utilise Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook for document creation, data management, and communication purposes.
- Organise and prioritise workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, and data entry as required.
- Support the conveyancing team in preparing for meetings by organising relevant documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience within a legal setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong audio typing skills with high accuracy levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective time management skills ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Knowledge of conveyancing procedures or previous experience working within property law is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: From £24,785.00 per year
