Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The Caretaker will be responsible for various cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain janitorial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide support during special events or functions by preparing spaces as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
