Our Landscape Management Division is gearing up for the busy grounds maintenance season and we are looking for 4 experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team.
The role involves working on water utility sites across Wiltshire, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, delivering high-quality grass cutting and weed control services.
All teams are based at our Stroud (GL6) yard, where you will start and finish each working day.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
- Overtime may be available depending on workload
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting using commercial mowing equipment
- Weed control and spraying on utility sites
- Operating hedge cutters, strimmers, and other landscaping machinery
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Maintaining equipment and adhering to health & safety standards
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
- Proven experience using commercial mowing equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Desirable (Not Essential)
- CSCS Card
- NPTC or Lantra certification in:
- Pesticide application
- Chainsaw operation
- Hedge cutters
- Mowers
- Strimmers
