Job Title: Workshop Fitter / Plant Field Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Workshop Fitter / Plant Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant machinery both in our workshop and at client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
- Work on-site at client locations as required, ensuring safety and high-quality service.
- Maintain accurate service records and report issues promptly.
- Assist in workshop operations, including assembly, fitting, and preparation of plant machinery.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Plant Fitter Requirements:
- Proven experience as a workshop fitter, field service engineer, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
- Flexible and willing to travel to client sites as required.
