We are looking for a reliable and experienced Machine Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will operate heavy plant and machinery safely and efficiently on construction and groundwork projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, dumpers and other plant machinery
- Carry out daily safety and maintenance checks
- Work alongside site teams to complete projects on schedule
- Follow all health & safety procedures on site
- Maintain equipment and report faults promptly
- Assist with general site duties when required
Requirements
- Proven experience operating construction plant machinery
- Valid CPCS. CSCS or NPORS card preferred
- Good understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Full driving licence preferred
Desirable
- Experience in groundwork or civil engineering projects
- Additional plant tickets/certifications
- Willing to travel
