Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall smooth running of the restaurant. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations
- Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained throughout the premises
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in meal presentation and taste
- Manage reservations, organise table allocations, and optimise seating arrangements to enhance customer experience
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality service, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Train new team members on service standards, health & safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations
- Enforce compliance with licensing laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies
- Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and special events
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Experience in team management with excellent leadership skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Previous restaurant experience is essential; hotel or barista experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English; ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
