Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanent Waking Night Nurse to provide high-quality care during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients throughout the night. Duties
Administer medication accurately in accordance with prescribed instructions
- Assessment of the holistic needs of all services users
- Record detailed observations and update patient records promptly and accurately
- Respond swiftly to any emergencies or changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during overnight hours
Experience
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting is essential
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively monitor patient health status
- Experience in medication administration, including understanding dosages and potential side effects is preferred
- Prior experience working night shifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently during overnight hours are required
