Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 6) – September Start | Islington | Maternity Cover
A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Islington is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 6) to join their team from September on a full-time basis. This is a maternity cover role, with the possibility of moving into a permanent position thereafter.

The Role
- Full-time Year 6 class teacher position
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Preparing pupils for SATs while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
- Tracking and supporting pupil progress to ensure all children achieve their potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Committed, reliable, and passionate about making a difference
