Specialist Supply Teaching Assistant – North London
£93 – £120 per day | Flexible & Part-Time Options for Supply TA
We are currently recruiting a Specialist Supply Teaching Assistant (TA) to work on a supply basis for Primary Schools across North London, supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, as well as mainstream students across EYFS - KS2.
This role is ideal for experienced TAs who are looking for flexible work, part-time hours, or the opportunity to secure a long-term placement within one school. The role is also ideal for those studying related academia (e.g. psychology, an education degree) to get relevant experience.
The Role
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups for Primary Schools across North London (Camden, Hampstead, Islington, Haringey)
- Travel expensed
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
- Assisting pupils with academic, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Roles available in mainstream and specialist settings
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN/SEMH
- Calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Available on short notice for short term & long term roles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (provided if you do not have one)
