In Homeleigh Truro we have a brand new Aquatics store. Opened in October last year, this store boasts brand new kit and is a very exciting new venture for our Homeleigh Truro team. We are looking for people that have a knowledge and passion for aquatics & fish, as well as knowledge of outdoor pond care. We are looking for for a part time member and the working days will include weekends.
Applicants should have the following:-
- A passion for fish - this can be tropical, marine or cold water. Experience caring for fish is essential and a good basic knowledge of the hobby is crucial. Training will be provided to help the applicant gain knowledge on areas within the hobby they are unsure of.
- Good customer service - we pride ourselves on being able to respond to any customer queries with a high level of expertise and enthusiasm.
- Retail experience - not essential but beneficial. This would include working on a till / epos system and customer care.
- Ability to work as part of a team - the department has a strong team that share responsibilities of buying in products, helping customers, maintenance of tanks and other equipment.
