Live-out position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest quality, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment.
- You will work a variety of shift patterns including morning, afternoon/evenings and splits.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
