A supportive and inclusive school in Acton, W3 is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in behaviour support, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, pastoral care, SEN support, or working with children and young people in challenging environments.
The school is seeking someone confident, resilient, and proactive who can build strong relationships and act as a positive role model for pupils.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour and emotional support
- Work with students who may display challenging behaviour
- Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional needs
- Help improve engagement, attendance and classroom behaviour
- Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Contribute to a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
