About the Role
As our Lettings Valuer, you’ll play a key part in expanding our amazing property portfolio. You’ll be responsible for conducting rental valuations, presenting our services with confidence, and converting new enquiries into instructions. This is a role for someone who loves communication, excels in face-to-face interactions, isn’t shy to pick up the phone and make outbound calls and is driven to deliver results, bringing on new rental properties onto the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate rental valuations on properties
- Meet with prospective landlords and present our services with confidence
- Win new instructions and help drive growth across the York area
- Take marketing photos, drawing floorplans and completing landlord compliance checks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords
- Provide exceptional communication throughout the process
- Support the lettings team with market insights by making reductions in rent
- Be happy to have a strong social media presence, and come up with great ideas to help promote the business
About You:
- A confident communicator with strong sales skills
- Hungry for business and motivated by achieving targets
- Proactive, and eager to build long standing relationships with landlords
- Comfortable meeting landlords in person and discussing their needs and how we can help
- Knowledge of the property or lettings sector is advantageous
- Organised, reliable, and committed to excellent service
