Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, and ensure the well-being of residents in our home. Candidates must hold valid nursing registration and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care. This position is for nights only currently, with some day availability to cover for annual leave.
Duties
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with medical protocols and organisational policies.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, monitoring patient responses.
- Assist with wound care, injections, and diagnostic tests.
- Provide health education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse within a care home, clinic, or community setting is essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of current nursing practices, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and compassionate patient care.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Competence in using electronic health record systems and other relevant healthcare technology.
- A recognised nursing qualification registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body is mandatory.

Pay: £22.25 per hour
