Full-Time Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative

Xlent Foods Ltd is a family-run wholesale foodservice business based in Plymouth. We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver. This is a full-time role involving both warehouse duties and multi-drop deliveries using a 3.5-ton refrigerated vehicle.

5 days a week Mon to Sat please see an example Rota below.
- Sunday – Off
- Monday – 4:00 AM to 12:20 PM – Deliveries and Store Support
- Tuesday – Off
- Wednesday – 4:00 AM to 12:20 PM – Deliveries and Store Support
- Thursday – 4:00 AM to 12:20 PM – Deliveries and Store Support
- Friday – 4:00 AM to 12:20 PM – Deliveries and Store Support
- Saturday – 4:00 AM to 12:20 PM – Deliveries and Store Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Checking and putting away incoming deliveries
- Delivering customer orders using a 3.5-ton refrigerated Sprinter-sized vehicle
- Performing multi-drop deliveries throughout the city
- Receiving goods into the warehouse
- Stock control and rotation
- Keeping the warehouse and stores clean and organised
- Loading delivery vehicles
- Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of delivery vehicles
- Working in cold storage areas (down to -20°C)
- Using internal systems (training provided)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to work in cold environments
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Basic computer skills (training provided)
- Punctuality and reliability for early starts (4:00 AM)
- Prior experience in a warehouse or delivery role is preferred
