Job Purpose: Landscape operative to work in a team of landscapers carrying out soft and hard landscape works throughout North-West England.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Landscape construction – hard and soft landscape
· Labouring work for hard landscape construction
· Soft landscaping construction work including – planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing, practical gardening tasks, pest and disease control, weed control.
· Maintain a positive and professional approach
· Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations
· Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary
· Foster client relationships and develop a culture of trust and respect
· Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs
· Attempt to solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issue to the Line Manager
Skills/Qualifications:
· Communication skills dealing with colleagues and customers
· Previous experience desired in both hard and soft landscaping
· Willingness to learn
· Customer Focus
· Health and Safety knowledge essential and qualifications an advant
· Full clean driving licence essential
Other Information:
· 41.25 hours per week
· Salary negotiable depending on experience
Site is in countryside outside Alderley Edge and not easily accessible using public transport
