Trade Counter Sales / Stores
Our client who are a family run business that who are also known as an employer of choice. They are currently recruiting a trade counter sales / stores person to join the team.
Duties
- Serving customers at the trade counter
- Ensuring all products are properly stocked and well presented at all times
- Help with making sure replacement stock is ordered
- Good housekeeping and maintaining the shop floor
- Prove an exceptional level of customer service to all customers, building relationships with regular and new customers
- Ensure all paperwork is handled efficiently
- Effectively working between the shop and stores
- Answering calls passed over from the office
- Carry out all transactions in accordance with company procedures
- Any other reasonable store and general duties deemed necessary
Suitable applicants will ideally be/have
- Experience in retail sales or stores
- Excellent customer service skills
- An effective listener who can carry out instructions given
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Good IT skills for use on in-house computer package
- A go-getter with a good attitude to work
