Kip & Nook is growing — and we need strong, reliable Supervisors to help us run two incredible venues side by side.
The Workshop is the beating heart of the site. Think cars, bikes, a roaring log burner, pool table, beer on tap, a cracking cocktail menu, and pizza and snacks served all day. It’s relaxed, it’s cool, and it’s unlike anywhere else.
Alberto’s Farmhouse is our brand new Italian-inspired restaurant — opening at the end of May and serving brunch and dinner seven days a week to hotel guests and visitors. Honest food, good company, farmhouse warmth.
As a Supervisor, you’ll work across both venues. You’ll be the go-to person on shift — running the floor, supporting the team, keeping service smooth, and making sure every guest leaves happy.
THE ROLE
- Running the floor during your shift across The Workshop and/or Alberto’s
- Supporting and directing FOH team members throughout service
- Managing billing, table flow, seating and guest queries
- Ensuring standards of service, cleanliness and presentation are consistently high
- Opening and closing duties as required
- Supporting Kip & Nook hotel guest enquiries and bookings, including answering the phone on weekends
- Stepping in on coffee or cocktails when needed and training others to do the same
- Feeding back to management on team performance, stock issues or operational improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous supervisory or senior FOH experience in hospitality
- Confidence leading a shift and making decisions on the fly
- Strong communication and people skills
- A genuine care for guest experience and service standards
- Reliability, energy and a positive attitude
- Flexibility across day and evening shifts, including weekends
HOURS & CONTRACT
We’re hiring Supervisors on both full-time and part-time contracts:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (5 shifts)
- Part-time: approximately 24 hours per week (3 shifts)
Please indicate your availability and preference when you apply. Day and evening shifts are on a rotating basis, and weekend availability is required for both.
