Dental Therapist Opportunity – Newcastle/Gateshead
We’re a friendly, busy 5?surgery practice in the North East, and we’re looking for a Dental Therapist to join our growing team.
Full?time or part?time considered, working across both NHS and private care.
You’ll be carrying out exams, S&P, cons and perio under NHS Direct Access, as well as completing all treatment within your scope of practice. Anything outside your scope (RCTs, extractions, lab work) is referred to our dentists, and you’ll also provide treatment under prescription when needed.
Private work is shared 50/50, and you’ll always have the support of a dedicated dental nurse.
Estimated earnings:
£51,750–£87,975 per year (based on 4 to 5.1 UDAs per hour and up to£120,750 (averaging 7 UDA's per hour) for an experienced Therapist.
We use SFD software, online booking portals, and tablets in every surgery to support smooth treatment planning. We also have an established Practice Plan list for hygiene and therapy appointments.
