Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at the Caledonian, Inverness, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the premises.
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to creating a hygienic and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company standards.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
Working Hours
We can be flexible on specific working hours, however, the majority of cleaning must be completed out-with opening hours and must include Saturday & Sunday early mornings
Pay: From £14.25 per hour
