Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff / Vineyard Tour Guides to join our team at a picturesque vineyard. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share our passion for winemaking and hospitality with visitors from all over. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, guiding guests through vineyard tours, assisting with events and creating memorable experiences that showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of our vineyard. Previous experience in hospitality or guiding is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Welcome visitors warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their experience
- Lead engaging and informative vineyard tours, sharing knowledge about the winemaking process, grape varieties, and vineyard history
- Answer visitor questions with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Assist with organising tasting sessions and ensuring guests have a memorable experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the visitor centre and surrounding areas
- Promote our products and encourage sales in a friendly manner
- Support event organisation and participate in special functions when required
- Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to during all activities
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Passionate about wine, hospitality, and tourism.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple groups of visitors efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude
- Previous experience in customer service or guiding roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus but not essential
